What happens if you go out of bounds in a game?
This story is telling us something similar. If we try to get to heaven by doing things that aren’t with Jesus, we won't succeed, similar to if we go out of bounds in a game. If we go out of bounds, or away from Jesus, we won’t get the joy of spending our lives with God.
