That is why we call today, Palm Sunday! That is why we wave palms today, to celebrate and welcome Jesus as King!
What surprised you about this story?
ACTIVITY: Let's jump into this Outdoor (or, Indoor) Challenge!
Gather some leaves, branches, or a blanket outside and lay them along a short path. Take turns walking or riding a bike along it while everyone shouts "Hosanna!" Talk afterward about how Jesus is a different kind of king, one who leads with humility.
